The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA)

has taken a decision to extend the eligibility period of project

“Accelerating ICT students′ start-up development competence via

interdisciplinary modular courses in the HEI curricula” (UXiship) until

14/11/2023.

In this regard, the project partners met online on March 12, 2021, to

discuss the amendments to Activity plan. According to the new

version, within the work package 1 EKA will be responsible for Task

1.6 “Content development / Update of subjects” and Task 1.11

“Approval conference of developed ICT-based entrepreneurial module

for engineering curricula”.

During the meeting, specific attention was paid to discussion of the

Task 1.1 “Inventorial and gap analysis of existing curricula”. Task 1.1

leader is TalTech, but EKA has initiated a launch of express analysis

and presented the simplified form, containing 14 soft skills and 33

hard skills relevant for ICT specialties. Project participants,

responsible for relevant ICT-related study programmes in Russian and

Kazakhstan Universities, should critically analyze the skills listed in the

form and to mark those skills, which students can acquire studying the

courses of the programme. Rostov State University of Economics has

already completed the form for all ICT-related Bachelor, Master and

Doctoral programmes.

Considering the fact that all “Train the trainer” visits to Russian and

Kazakh Universities are postponed due to the COVID-19 caused

restrictions, the European partners decided to deliver a set of online

lectures. The list of lectures that will be offered to mentored partners

was discussed during EKA team online meeting on March 15, 2021

Seven EKA team members, UXiship coordinator at EKA, EKA Vice

Rector Jelena Titko, and EKA UXiship administrator participated in the

meeting. The list of EKA offered courses contains: Marketing

Communication, Marketing Strategies, Branding Strategies for IT,

Project Management: Specifics for the IT sector, Corporate Social

Responsibility,Financial Planning for Business, Investments in

Intellectual Capital, Introduction to Entrepreneurship: Specifics for IT

Branch, and Contemporary Business Models. The lectures are

planned to be delivered till the mid of April 2021
