Hochschule Wismar held the course in IoT, Blockchain, Converging Technologies for academic staff from 6 partner universities
In late March-early April 2021, the project groups from 6 Kazakh and Russian partner universities (professors and researchers from ICT- and entrepreneurship-related faculties) followed an online course “IoT, Blockchain, Converging Technologies” authored by Prof. Giovanni Dinotto from - Wismar University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design (Germany) as part of task 1.9. “Capacity and Competence Building” of the UXiship project. The course consists of 5 modules:
- Module 1 : DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) – Blockchain Technology
- Module 2 : DLT – Blockchain Use Cases
- Module 3 : A. I. and IoT
- Module 4 – Technology Convergence
- Module 5 : DLT, AI and IoT for Ports & Supply Chains
By result of the course the project groups received certificates and new knowledge, which will be further applied in teaching interdisciplinary educational modules updated in terms of the UXiship project.
The main outcomes of the project are popularization of co-working space for startup projects, updating training programs with an entrepreneurial component, advanced training of teachers and researchers, exchange of experience with foreign partners, conducting trainings and courses for students and developing startup projects for students.
